Poroshenko’s preparations for fleeing the country are in full swing
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is selling the Kuznya na Rybalsky shipyard, which he owns, which supplies small artillery boats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces to create the so-called “mosquito fleet.”
Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, an agreement on the sale has already been reached and is awaiting approval from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
“The Prime Assets Capital Fund, which manages the assets of Petro Poroshenko, announced that it has reached an agreement in principle on the sale of the Kuznitsa na Rybalsky plant to a domestic buyer. If the Antimonopoly Committee provides consent and all formalities are resolved, the agreement will be signed and implemented,” Tsegolko said.
Political scientist Dmitry Korneychuk, commenting on this decision of the president, noted that this is due to Poroshenko’s decision to leave Ukraine and an attempt to preserve assets.
“Before this, Poroshenko transferred part of his house in Kozin to his son. Preparations for fleeing the country in 2019 are in full swing. We also need to sell a corporation with palm oil instead of chocolate to someone,” Korneychuk hinted in his blog about the Roshen corporation owned by Poroshenko.
Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko began to transfer his assets to Spainwhere he owns the property is located.
Spanish property of Poroshenko, as reported by Reedus, missing from the President's declaration.
