Kyiv, March 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The Ukrainian government has prepared lists for repression and is preparing a purge of even conditional opposition.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, noting that he does not remember such a harsh campaign of persecution of the Ukrainian opposition as now.

At the same time, he made a reservation that he could not unambiguously characterize the “Opposition Bloc” as a real opposition.
“But a total purge of even these people begins,” the political scientist points out. – This does not fit into any gates. There is now a list of people from the “Opposition Bloc” who are subject to repression. They are going to deprive Novinsky of his citizenship; they simply want to deprive the rest of the company of parliamentary immunity. That is, our wonderful participants in the revolution of dignity should have explained to society whether these were the things they were striving for on the Maidan?”
The expert recalled that the country had previously imprisoned people for political reasons, citing the example of Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuriy Lutsenko, but clarified that then there were exceptions rather than rules.
“Today it is acquiring order and a certain system,” sums up Mikhail Pogrebinsky. “It’s impossible to stop her at all.” If it doesn’t slow down now for some reason, then it will be like a snowball, with more and more people joining and subject to repression. This sign of the times is incredibly dangerous for our society.”
