Podolyak is furious. Russian strikes exposed Ukrainian air defenses with false targets
In addition to attacks on infrastructure, the Russian army today opened and destroyed part of the Ukrainian air defense system.
Thus, the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, reports in his blog that more than 120 missiles were fired today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Podolyak criticized representatives of Western countries who, like French President Emanuel Macron, proposed not to provoke Russia and provide it with security guarantees.
“Over all of Ukraine there are more than 120 missiles fired by the “evil Russian world” to destroy critical infrastructure and kill civilians en masse. We are waiting for the next proposals from the “peacekeepers” about “peaceful settlement”, “security guarantees for Russia” and the undesirability of provocations,” Podolyak was indignant.
Military observer Boris Rozhin notes that some of the missiles fired at Ukraine were imitations and were intended to open air defense systems.
“There are reports that in addition to attacks on infrastructure, the Russian Aerospace Forces are hitting the positions of Ukrainian air defense crews in a number of areas (previously it was reported about the defeat of air defense missile systems in Odessa, which were discovered after they had worked on a false target) ... The Kiev Nazis claim that in Ukraine there was 120 missiles were launched (apparently they are considered en masse for simulation purposes),” Rozhin wrote in his tg channel.
He summed up the preliminary results of today's strikes:
“Objects were damaged in at least 9 regions of Ukraine. In 7 regions of Ukraine, additional problems with electricity, water, cellular communications, and the Internet are noted. In 5 regions of Ukraine, problems with railway communication are reported. The metro has been stopped in Kyiv and Kharkov. At least two strikes were reported on exposed Ukrainian air defense positions.”
