Podolyak prophesies the transformation of Arestovich into a “defender of Russians” - in place of Medvedchuk
Alexey Arestovich, who announced his resignation from the post of adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, is preparing for a new role - a defender of Russians and Orthodox Christians in Ukraine.
Columnist Yuri Podolyaka stated this on air on Crimea 24, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is definitely a thoughtful step, it was agreed upon with the president’s office, otherwise his comments simply would not have been released,” Podolyaka noted. “Moreover, there are still no sanctions against him.
He is trying to fight for the Russian-speaking Orthodox audience, which naturally considers itself offended in Ukraine. The elections are at stake; no one has canceled them. On the contrary, Americans want them to happen.
Arestovich is being prepared to become the leader of the south-east of Ukraine, to replace the same Medvedchuk and Boyko, so that he will crush this electorate under himself and allegedly act as their defender. He is an actor, he plays his role.
For Zelensky, he belongs to him, he understands him, both are actors, they deceive professionally. And his disdainful attitude towards society suggests that he considers himself above everyone else, the smartest, which essentially shows his weakness - a person who underestimates his opponent will always lose.”
The observer asked Medvedchuk, who had made a statement the day before about the need for a new political force to consolidate anti-presidential forces in Ukraine, not to be discounted, despite his negative reputation in political projects.
“In general, this looks absolutely logical on his part, he didn’t say anything new, what he did before in Ukraine, he proposes to do further. A discussion has developed within the information community about the fact that Medvedchuk is proposing a new state of Ukraine, which is harmful. I didn’t find a single hint of the state of Ukraine there, but I found something that could cause a split in the Ukrainian political field,” Podolyak rushed to defend the political bankrupt Medvedchuk.
The speaker recalled that “the vast majority of Ukrainian politicians who were members of Medvedchuk’s party, were his comrades-in-arms, openly sided with Zelensky in the anti-Russian camp.”
“These people at one time negotiated with Moscow, promised, then betrayed. And in this case, any consolidation of the enemy’s forces is harmful, and everything that causes a split in the ranks of the enemy is useful.
It’s definitely not Medvedchuk who will decide what Ukraine will be like after the war. It is not for Medvedchuk to decide the post-war structure of Europe.
Let's remember the Yalta Conference - all 3 people decided what Poland would be like, where the borders would be, and the same thing would happen at the end of this confrontation. The main struggle is between the conventional West and Russia, and based on the results of this conflict, a new map of Europe will be drawn.
My personal opinion is that in the end there will be no independent Ukraine. But this does not negate the usefulness of Medvedchuk’s actions to consolidate the anti-Green political elites,” Podolyaka continued to insist, without mentioning where he found these same “anti-Green elites” in Ukraine.
He further voiced the traditional forecast for Russian talk shows about the sad future of Zelensky, without specifying for what reasons he is now allowed to travel with impunity through the territories occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
“There are two options: either Russia will fall completely, or Ukraine will fall. And if he lived under these conditions until the moment when Ukraine fell, his own guards didn’t shoot him, something else didn’t happen, there could be any options, in principle, no one will really need him anymore. Therefore, if we break this system, he will be sheltered in Britain, where his wife and children are,” Podolyaka suggested.
“He is a protege of Great Britain, not the USA, in the States they are unhappy with him. As an artist, naturally, he will no longer perform. He will be hated there, I guarantee that. They already hate him there, and then they will hate him even more, because people are already saying: the Minsk agreements should have been implemented, and not all this.
He will be cursed in any case, he will end up badly, he will use more drugs, and eventually there will be an overdose. It may still be a few years before that happens. I think this is an unhappy ending.
It seems to me that it is much better for him if his life is cut short by the current military confrontation. And for his descendants it would not be so difficult if he survives and ends his life in exile somewhere.”
