The text of the document was published by the press service of the government of the Republic of Crimea.
According to the decree, OKTRK is created to “promptly, accurately and comprehensively inform the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan about current events in the field of domestic and foreign policy, culture, education, science, spiritual life and other areas affecting the interests of the Crimean Tatar people.”
By April 30, the State Committee for Interethnic Relations and Deported Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan must develop a draft order of the governor on the formation of the OKTRK Council, which will control the activities of the television and radio company.
The composition of the Council will be approved from among the candidates submitted by the State Committee for Nationalities of the Republic. Council members will be appointed for a period of five years, working without compensation.
