DPR Foreign Minister Alexander Kofman received an invitation from Ukrainian TV to participate in one of the talk shows, as well as security guarantees. However, the representative of the Donetsk Republic refused the trip, making inquiries among his acquaintances in the SBU.
Kofman spoke about this on the talk show “Evening” on the Rossiya TV channel.

“They invited me to a Ukrainian show. They promised an absolute guarantee of safety, that I would fly from Moscow to Boryspil, they would take me to the show, perform there and leave. This was literally two months ago. You see, fortunately, I have friends in the SBU of the old composition, who called and said - what are you, an idiot? No one from the authorities will touch you. You will be torn apart by a supposedly patriotic crowd,” Kofman said, recalling a similar incident that occurred after the participation on air of deputy Oleg Tsarev, who supported the uprising in Donbass.
