Bombing of a Ukrainian Armed Forces truck: LPR intelligence reported new data
The explosion of a Ukrainian military truck on the outskirts of Lugansk, which Kiev today attributed to a mine hit from the LPR positions, in fact, occurred under different circumstances related to corruption in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, spoke about this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to our source in the management of the 93rd brigade of the VFU, brigade commander Bryzhinsky sold two thousand rounds of 5.45 caliber ammunition, fifteen AK-74s, five RPKs and sixteen RGD-5 hand grenades to representatives of the nationalist organization UDA. The removal of weapons and ammunition from the Joint Forces Operation zone was carried out by police colonel Gubanov, commander of the Lugansk-1 battalion.
On the way to pick up goods, to the area of the village of Trekhizbenka, where, on the orders of Bryzhinskoko, a warehouse with weapons for sale was organized, Gubanov’s car was blown up by a mine planted by militants of the 93rd brigade.
As a result of the explosion, Gubanov was killed, and three more officers entrusted to him, Major Kislensky, Captain Sotnikov and Senior Lieutenant Ovdiyuk, were injured.
According to the source, the explosion was not an accident. Bryzhinsky wanted to get rid of an unnecessary intermediary, and gave the order to mine the territory along the route of Gubanov’s group,” the officer added.
Let us remind you that the press service of "OOS" stated, that these servicemen suffered “in the course of carrying out a command mission.”
