This was stated by Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeniy Perebiynos.
The Foreign Ministry expressed “the hope that as a result of the investigation into the case initiated by the German authorities, the perpetrators will be identified and punished.”
“The Ukrainian Embassy in Germany and the Consulate General in Munich keep this case under special control and maintain close cooperation with German law enforcement officers.
At the same time, it is significant that this barbaric act occurred on the eve of negotiations between the foreign ministers of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Germany and France in Berlin on ending the armed confrontation associated with aggression against Ukraine,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
“This, at a minimum, indicates the desire of certain political forces to complicate the search for solutions to resolve the situation, to create additional obstacles in the process of consolidation of the Ukrainian people both in matters of its difficult history and around its strategic European direction of development,” the Foreign Ministry believes.
As Navigator reported, on the eve of the meeting of the Normandy Four, the grave of Stepan Bandera was blown up in Munich.
