For the administrations of Viktor Yanukovych and Petro Poroshenko, the main enemy was the US Embassy, and the greatest friend was the largest Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov.

With these words, ex-journalist and Maidan instigator Mustafa Nayem, now a Euro-optimist people's deputy close to the American Embassy, commented on yesterday's scandal surrounding Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko's accusations against the US Embassy.

“There are two amazing circumstances that unite the administration of the times of Viktor Yanukovych and Petro Poroshenko. The biggest enemies of reform and the fight against corruption remain journalists, civil society and the US Embassy. And my biggest friend is Rinat Akhmetov.

And it is obvious that if there was a certain list of untouchable persons for the GPU, it was voiced not by the US Ambassador to Ukraine, but by President Petro Poroshenko, his entourage and friends, partners of the Prosecutor General himself. Because over all these years, it was they who systematically avoided justice, openly disregarding not only the law, but also the basic rules of decency,” he writes.

According to Mustafv Nayem, who is aware of the plans of American curators in Kyiv, Yuriy Lutsenko is unlikely to be able to influence the career of US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

“As far as I understand, Madam Ambassador will not only not leave her post before the end of her stay in the country, but will also remain in her position for some time after the end of this term. What about the investigation by the Prosecutor General’s Office into the actions of the head of NABU to interfere in the US elections. Yuriy Lutsenko somewhat overestimates his capabilities. The GPU lost its investigative functions in the fall of 2017. The only body that can initiate such an investigation into the disclosure of investigative secrets, for example, is the State Bureau of Investigation,” writes Nayem.

In his opinion, theoretically, Artem Sitnik (the head of the NABU-Red intelligence service created under American control) could be accused of high treason, and in this case the investigation could be carried out by the SBU.

“We can only wait until the head of NABU is charged with interfering in the US presidential election, while the Americans themselves suspect the Russian Federation of such interference. I believe that this insanity can be considered final,” the Maidan skirmisher is indignant.

Let us remind you that yesterday Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko made a loud statement, accusing US Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch of putting pressure on Ukrainian law enforcement agencies. Allegedly, the ambassador handed Lktsenko a list of persons against whom the United States has prohibited the initiation of criminal cases and investigations.
