At least four of the group of 32 Russian citizens detained in Belarus, whom Alexander Lukashenko declared to be representatives of the Wagner PMC, allegedly preparing a coup, were severely beaten while in custody.

“The 32 released “heroes” have already undergone an initial medical examination, after which it was decided to send some of them to the procedure for removing the beatings. All injuries received during the arrest will be recorded and documented,” Penov said.

According to him, “at least four of the “bogatyrs” had traces of harsh use of force. Other “damages” included broken ribs, damage to internal organs, and traumatic brain injuries.”
