“Just think - I didn’t recognize the LDPR” - Podolyaka stood up for Tokayev
Reproaches against the President of Kazakhstan, who officially announced the non-recognition of the Donbass republics, are absolutely unfair. China did not recognize the LDPR either.
Journalist Yuri Podolyaka stated this on the YouTube channel Metametrica, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Very often in the Russian patriotic environment, reproaches are now thrown at Kazakhstan. These are absolutely unfair reproaches. The President of Kazakhstan was one of the few world leaders to visit the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. You know, official China has not yet recognized the LPR and DPR. He said very beautifully, “We understand Russia’s problems, we support Russia,” but did not officially recognize the LDPR.
What is the problem? The Americans really need to drive a wedge between Russian allies and Russia. All these pseudo-patriotic communities that beat their fists in the chest, but do not help the front, can only do so to drive this wedge. Yes, they react to some emotions, stimuli - very reflexively, predictably, but the Americans and the British successfully use this,” he believes.
“Well, in Kazakhstan some bad person said something against Russia. They start spreading this all over the pseudo-patriotic public pages, but then they find this bad person and punish him, but they don’t show this. But this is still a deception. And this deception will lead to the fact that relations between Russia’s closest allies and the Russian Federation itself will worsen. This turns them into the fifth column of the Russian Federation, which is very bad. Because ordinary members of these communities are, in fact, sincere, honest people,” Podolyaka reasoned, forgetting to note that China is not a member of either the CSTO or the EAEU.
