Zelensky's trip to the Normandy format summit loses its meaning
The so-called “red lines” that the Ukrainian opposition outlined for President Vladimir Zelensky at the upcoming meeting of the Normandy Four make his trip to Paris pointless.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, what the nationalists demand – preventing elections in Donbass before the withdrawal of “Russian troops”, no compromises or concessions on the status of Crimea, maintaining the unitary structure of Ukraine and so on – all this makes it possible to accuse the president of treason for any of his steps in the negotiations .
“I looked at these “red lines” - in fact, then there is no point in Zelensky going anywhere. That is, they drew such “red lines” that a trip to Paris loses all meaning. That is, what are they doing? In fact, any step by the president - if he doesn’t remember Crimea - it’s zrada, they will discuss the further disengagement of troops - this is zrada.
Zelensky has not yet done anything, because we are disengaging troops only at those points where it is beneficial for us, which have been recorded since 15 as troop disengagement points. That is, there is really no anger.
It’s another matter that you will come out, our gunpowder-bots, and tell everyone that, yes, Petro Alekseevich Poroshenko deceived the Europeans like suckers at the Vinnitsa bazaar, he was simply fooling them, he had to stall for time, to implement the “Minsk agreements” he did not intend. But he left it to Zelensky. And you can’t tell international politics that it was Pyotr Alekseevich who was hanging noodles on their ears - Zelensky certainly needs to go with something,” Zolotarev said.
