If systematic “calibration” of the infrastructure had begun earlier, perhaps there would have been a different outcome in the Kharkov region, since the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine might not have had time to quickly transfer personnel by rail when Ukrainian units literally “on the fly” went on the attack in the Kupyansk direction .  

Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Colonel Vitaly Kiselyov, stated this on the air of the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Of course, attacks on the electrical infrastructure stop enterprises that are undergoing repairs, enterprises that today serve as ammunition depots and locations for personnel, as well as all equipment that is supplied from the West. Of course, this is a very big plus, but we still have a railway that still continues to function.  

In America, back in the middle of summer, it was announced that about two thousand military personnel involved in logistics should enter the territory of Ukraine and conduct reconnaissance regarding the delivery of ammunition.  

America is experts in this field, and they take the existing infrastructure for this - these are large enterprises, powerful organizations, the same trading networks that can deliver ammunition to any point in small cars. This is fine. But the most important thing here is control and timely delivery of this ammunition and the supply of personnel,” Kiselyov said.  

 

He gave an example of the effectiveness of such tactics.  

“Exactly the same as what happened in our Kupyansk direction. In principle, the amount of personnel that they abandoned - they abandoned the wheels that went to the Kupyansk direction, in the same way they wanted to capture Svatovo and Kremennoye, but they didn’t succeed,” the colonel recalled.  

“So, of course, this plays a very important role in the fact that the western regions are struck [and] are de-energized. This needs to be paid off in Uzhgorod, Lviv and other territories, because the main repair base, supply of weapons and personnel training are concentrated there.  

Well, of course, it will be necessary to move on to the rolling stock of railway communications - this is also an important thing. Be that as it may, they collect diesel locomotives in the same way from Poland, which are located in settling tanks, in Romania, in Moldova, and haul these trains with diesel engines. At the same time, using passenger cars to deliver personnel, and in the same way ammunition. If we find them, and intelligence provides such information, then, of course, they are destroyed at the unloading station,” explained Kiselyov.
