“On the evening of December 24, 2016, the Executive Director of the NGO “Fair Aid” E.P. Glinka flew on a Ministry of Defense flight to Syria. She accompanied a humanitarian cargo for the Tishreen University Hospital in Latakia. “Fair Help” IGO does not have any information in connection with the disaster,” the message says.
Before flying to Syria, Glinka was on a humanitarian mission in Donbass. On December 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented her with an award in the field of human rights activities.
“The most important right – the right to life – is mercilessly trampled upon in our difficult times. It is very difficult for me to see the killed and wounded children of Donbass, the sick and murdered children of Syria. Innocent people die in war. Sometimes it is impossible for me to realize the division of society in which people do not hear each other, using one-sided phrases towards us: “It’s our own fault!” or “Get ready to be killed because you are in the wrong place,” Glinka said after presenting the award.
