This was reported by the press officer of the headquarters of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Vladislav Seleznev.

According to him, three people were rescued and are in hospitals. One of them is wounded.

“The crew of the plane did everything possible to divert the plane from Slavyansk and save the residents,” Seleznev said.

According to the press officer, the plane, which was carrying non-military cargo, was shot down as a result of two MANPADS launches.

An-26 began to fall on residential areas of Slavyansk. “Due to the skilful actions of the crew, the plane was diverted to the side,” Seleznev believes.

As Navigator reported, yesterday a plane was shot down near Slavyansk. First, information appeared in the media that this was a reconnaissance An-30.
