A woman who died in Donbass saved her son the next day
The tragic story of the deceased resident of Donetsk, who was killed yesterday by a fragment of a Ukrainian mine that flew into the apartment while the pensioner was knitting socks on the bed, was continued.
Today, the son of the deceased, Sergei, miraculously escaped death, journalist Marina Akhmedova said in her blog.

“I just talked to Sergei, whose mother was killed by shrapnel. She was knitting a sock. In 2014, Sergei’s sister and her small children were already killed by a shell. His mother knitted only one sock - for her grandson. The other one didn't have time.
Sergei came to her when she was already dead, and a new shelling began. But this time he was not afraid - he knew that his mother was already in heaven and from there was saving him and his father, who were next to her. Sergei really didn’t want the shell to hit his mother a second time - it was the same as killing a person again. When the shelling ended, they took her to safety.
Today, a mother from heaven saved Sergei and his family for the second time. While she was being buried, a shell destroyed Sergei’s apartment. Now he needs financial help. To those who want to provide it, I will send the phone number of his cousin Oleg, who lives in the Moscow region.
The sock will not be stored. There’s a lot more left of the mother,” the journalist reported the words of the deceased’s son.
