This is reported on the City Council website. In turn, the first deputy prime minister of the proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic, Vasily Nikitin, said that the number of people killed as a result of artillery shelling of Lugansk is in the hundreds.
“Today we are talking about several hundred dead. The number of destroyed houses is also in the hundreds. If you take large-panel houses, then more than a dozen have been destroyed, if you count private houses, then the number goes into hundreds,” Nikitin said.
As Navigator reported, Lugansk has been surrounded by Ukrainian military and under constant shelling for about 20 days. There is no light or communication in the city, food and medicine supplies have been stopped. Yesterday a humanitarian convoy from Russia passed to Lugansk.
