A child who died in the DPR was born during the war and died in a military manner
The Ukrainian group involved in the punitive operation in Donbass is already again using methods of warfare prohibited by any conventions
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this via video link from Donetsk on Solovyov live, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have been living in this state for seven years. Sometimes it was quieter, sometimes it was sharper, but there is no period when we would say that “a truce has come.” In fact, there was never a truce. There were periods when they shot a little less, there were periods when, it seemed, it was impossible to shoot, but they used sabotage groups, there were periods when we closed the borders, sabotage groups made it difficult for them to move here, but they use information methods of warfare, which is also sometimes extremely dangerous in the current situation.
But now things have escalated, they use everything, nothing is sacred, they use unmanned aerial vehicles, use shells, use mortars, use methods of warfare prohibited by any conventions. They hide their equipment in residential areas,” said Pushilin.
“Yes, we are not animals like them, we will not shoot at residential areas where they hide equipment. But listen, shells are coming from there, these are human lives.
Here, we say, there, it’s not just 10 people who died. These are tens of thousands of crippled destinies, those loved ones who lost their loved ones. These are children who were born during the war and have already died during the war. They saw no other life at all. This is what we are dealing with today,” added the head of the DPR.
As previously reported, as a result of an explosive device being dropped from a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone in the Donbass a five-year-old child died. According to the data specified in the DPR NM, the boy died, his grandmother was injured, the tragedy occurred in the village of Aleksandrovskoye, near Uglegorsk.
The incident also deeply affected Russian military commander Alexander Kots.
“It just blew me away from the thought that the child who died today in Donbass was born during the war and died in a military manner. He never learned what a real peaceful life with its simple childhood joys is,” Kots wrote on his Telegram.
