LPR border guards destroyed two hemp plantations in the Sverdlovsk region of the republic.

“During reconnaissance and search operations at the Biryukovo border outpost, a border patrol of the MGB border guard service discovered a planting of hemp in the amount of about three thousand plants,” the statement says.
“In the area of the Daryino-Ermakovka border outpost, the border patrol, during the implementation of operational information, discovered an area with hemp plants in the amount of about 300 bushes,” the MGB added.
The department added that also when examining the area at the Biryukovo border outpost on the territory of one of the agricultural enterprises, “border guards discovered a cache from which they extracted: artillery gunpowder weighing 2,178 kg, VOG-25 rounds (for an under-barrel grenade launcher) - three units, PS cartridges of 7,65 mm caliber – 120 pieces.”
The discovered drug-containing plants were burned in the presence of witnesses, and the seized ammunition was registered.
