Border guards did not allow the Ukrainian to take four swords to Poland
On the Ukrainian-Polish border, law enforcement officers found a bladed weapon in the car of a Ukrainian citizen, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Mostitsky border detachment.
So, on the morning of August 16, on the Ukrainian-Polish border at the Shegini checkpoint, during an inspection of one of the minibuses in which a 36-year-old resident of the Lviv region was heading abroad, border guards discovered four swords.
The man tried to transport them between personal belongings in the cargo compartment of the car, and followed the Green Corridor lane.
Further proceedings in the case are carried out by employees of the National Police of Ukraine.
The press service also reported that at the neighboring Krakovets checkpoint, border guards recorded and notified the police about another attempt to bribe a serviceman. A 1000-year-old resident of the Ivano-Frankivsk region offered a bribe of 51 hryvnia to a border guard so as not to wait in front of the checkpoint and to go through registration out of turn. Therefore, the traveler was forced to explain his illegal actions to the police.
