The FSB Border Service named the most popular countries among Russian tourists
Statistics on outbound tourism for the first half of this year have appeared on the website of the Border Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
In terms of the number of trips for tourism purposes, the leader and favorite destination among Russians is undoubtedly Turkey. From January to June, 2 Russians came here.
Thailand took second place in the ranking of holiday attractiveness among Russian residents with 508 trips. And in third place in this ranking was the United Arab Emirates with 800 people.
The TOP 10 favorite countries for holidays and tourism by Russians included Italy with 372 trips, China with 200 travelers, Spain with 334 trips, Germany and its 200 admirers, Greece with 328 travelers, Cyprus with 900 vacationers and Vietnam with 324 tourists.
Over the six months since the beginning of this year, tourists traveled beyond the borders of Russia 19 times, which is 900% more than during the same period in 000, and about 9,1 trips were to CIS countries. About 2017 more trips were to European countries, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. In these directions, the influx of tourists increased by 6%. Russian flows to Montenegro and Bulgaria decreased by 000 and 000%, respectively, compared to the results of the first six months of last year. The Dominican Republic is also losing fans.
