Vladimir Zelensky’s team can neither agree on a vaccine nor introduce coercive measures to stabilize the situation in the country - the regime is completely helpless.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let's take something tragically important for us - this is a vaccine. Well, we don’t want to receive from the Russians, and they babble something like that about the fact that the Americans are not giving us, they have closed themselves off. Well, tell me, if you have any relevant organs, say that if you don’t give it to us, then we will do this and that.
And I can say that it is likely that the Americans would be forced to meet halfway, because they also have an interest in our decisions. No, he plaintively, as if whining - well, please give it, well, you don’t allow us to take the Russian vaccine, and if you don’t give it, it will influence public opinion. What kind of pathetic babble is this?” – the political scientist spoke disgustingly to Zelensky.
The expert was no less skeptical about the Ukrainian president’s ability to make other responsible decisions regarding the pandemic.
“And in order to introduce lockdowns, you need to be sure that they will be implemented. And what does our government decide together with our president? Let’s do this, let’s pretend that our situation is improving, and then we don’t need strict restrictive measures - and this is what people are scandalizing because they cannot feed their families, they demand that everything be open, small and medium businesses, and so on.
And we won’t, we will live until January 8, and then we will cancel this lockdown, simply because they will show that our situation is improving. But she's not getting better.
So the logic and behavior is this: we are afraid, we are cowardly hares, we are afraid to use government mechanisms, because we know that we do not know how to do anything,” Pogrebinsky emphasized.
