This opinion was expressed to PolitNavigator by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky.

“It was clear that when Saakashvili was not here, a crackdown would definitely happen. While there was such a figure as Saakashvili, who was protected by the Europeans, there were no such attempts. And now the issue has been resolved to the satisfaction of Pyotr Alekseevich. And frankly, I have no sympathy for this public, despite the fact that I am critical of Pyotr Alekseevich. But this way is not worth fighting for the truth. Euromaidan should have forced people to draw some conclusions, to understand that nothing good happens as a result of such actions,” the expert noted.
