Pogrebinsky voiced a scenario for freezing the conflict in Donbass, which will suit everyone
Freezing the conflict in Donbass will have a positive result if, during the freezing, Russia begins to actively develop the economic component in the LDPR.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the First Independent TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I have no doubt that the meaning that Victoria Nuland wants to put into this concept and the meaning that Moscow is ready to support are diametrically opposed, maybe I’m wrong. But tactically there will be no progress, and strategically this will mean that the movement is moving towards a certain goal, which means freezing the conflict,” the political scientist noted.
“This, I think, will suit both the States, Russia, and Donbass, if the Russian Federation, during the freeze, actively begins to develop the economic component in the unrecognized republics. Then people will not die, and the situation will more or less calm down. I think that, in principle, this can also suit some part of Zelensky’s entourage - I have achieved that there is no war, so I will move on to a second term and so on,” Pogrebinsky said.
