Pogrebinsky: Poroshenko is disgusting purely physiologically
The current behavior of Petro Poroshenko is explained by the fact that he does not believe in the results of opinion polls, which indicate that he has no chance of winning.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this in an interview with Vesti, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I said three weeks ago that the situation has no alternative - Poroshenko has no chance. All polls even before the first round showed a large, virtually insurmountable gap. They ask a lot of questions: why doesn’t Poroshenko give up, why does he behave so cynically, why does he hang up some wild, meaningless billboards? I have no doubt that Poroshenko knew before the first round that the gap according to the polls was large. But, apparently, he did not want to believe it, otherwise there would not have been such a reaction immediately after the exit polls. Poroshenko did not believe in the data of these surveys! He has a psychological state of disbelief that reality is like this. The situation is similar today. He mobilizes all resources, including our so-called “intellectual class,” says Pogrebinsky
Pogrebinsky also criticized Poroshenko’s current aggressive campaign.
“In his mind, he should have prepared for retirement more correctly, without inviting fire on himself with all sorts of delusional billboards, inciting mongrels who talk about drug addiction and so on,” he says.
According to the political scientist, the main reason for Poroshenko’s defeat is that “everyone is really tired of him.”
“I think that Poroshenko is largely disgusting purely physiologically. People feel that everything he does, all his hand gestures, is theatrical, and in the spirit of a provincial actor. All this is outrageous!” Pogrebinsky concluded.
