Pogrebinsky: A decent person will not work as a “Sprechenführer”
You need to be a fan of presenting yourself as an “idiot” and a “cretin” in order to do what the Ukrainian language ombudsman, popularly called “Sprechenfuehrer,” does.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The moderator of the channel recalled the words of the current “Sprechenführer” Taras Kremin that the renaming of Arbuzinka, Severodonetsk, Yuzhnoukrainsk, Nadezhdovka, Luch, Pervomaisk and many other settlements will help “ensure the functioning of the state language as a tool for uniting society, a means of strengthening state unity and territorial integrity Ukraine, its independence and territorial security."
At the same time, Kremin claims that he even receives complaints about non-compliance with Ukrainian spelling standards for the names of cities and towns.
“Your thoughts on this matter are very interesting. What's happening?" – asked the presenter.
“This does not surprise me, we have a number of people similar to Farion, she is the most famous, but there are others who have the meaning of life in this, there is no other meaning,” Pogrebinsky commented. – As a rule, these are more women than men, they either have a husband, or don’t have a man, such a life problem. They’re working on how to rename Masha to Marichka, so it’s not surprising.”
“The fact that Kremin is doing this, listen, it’s his responsibility, he took this position. A decent person, more or less decent, will not take this position. But since he went, he must do his job, so he makes an idiot of himself.
It is clear that for more than half of the Ukrainian population, the information that it is necessary to exchange “hope” for “nadia” is also a manifestation of the insanity of the Ukrainian authorities and the situation itself.
Therefore, Taras, keep working, you are making yourself look like a complete idiot. Apparently, that’s what you are,” the political scientist added.
Thank you!
