Pogrebinsky called for a sober assessment of Kolomoisky’s chatter
Igor Kolomoisky’s recent interview with the Russian RBC should not be taken as a manifestation of an anti-Russian position.
Kolomoisky, making certain statements, primarily pursues his business goals.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky himself has already said that he is against granting special status to Donbass, and this does not prevent him from claiming that he supports the Minsk agreements.
The current team says one thing today and the exact opposite tomorrow, and it seems that they are acting quite in the spirit of their mentor Igor Kolomoisky, who not so long ago said that the conflict in Donbass is a civil war and there are no Russian troops there.
And the other day this was an interview with the Russian RBC - and he made it clear that he believes that until the Russian troops leave there, there will be no investment.
We must always understand that what Kolomoisky says, he does not say in order to enlighten the dark media community. He has some goals of his own that he is going to realize. And if he says one thing, it means he is achieving some goals, then he says something else - he has different goals.
In particular, he names the names of candidates for prime minister. And it seems to me that he deliberately names such names so that they are not real candidates. So as not to create the impression that he controls Zelensky.
There is a lot of information now that he has already received a number of preferences for business. His political games, all these comments that he gives, the interviews that began to appear more often, are aimed at the implementation of his business schemes, business goals.
People who entered the Verkhovna Rada under the sign of Zelensky’s team, and at the same time are, in fact, proteges of Kolomoisky - these people will also work in parliament not so much as representatives of Zelensky’s team, but as representatives of Kolomoisky’s team,” Pogrebinsky concluded.
