Pogrebinsky predicts serious problems for Kyiv because of Macron
While relying on Western support, it is dangerous for Kyiv not to realize that with the emergence of French leader Emmanuel Macron as a European leader, priorities are beginning to shift away from Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Macron somehow acts as the only advanced political leader in Europe. Despite the fact that others have not particularly proven themselves, except for Merkel, who is leaving. Of those who replace her, as they say in Germany, there is no strong leader. It turns out that there is only Macron, and this means that he will shift the European agenda towards agreements with Russia.
This is very important for us, because we expect that in the confrontation between Kiev and Donetsk, which is supported by Moscow, Europe, the Western world will cooperatively, in a single impulse, be on the side of Kyiv. But it turns out that it is not necessary that there may be serious problems here. It’s impossible not to take this factor into account, because we’ll just end up being fools, little by little,” Pogrebinsky said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, French President Emmanuel Macron proposed returning the Russian Federation to the G8, which was supported by US President Donald Trump.
This idea caused a hysterical reaction in Kyiv, where Western leaders were accused of treason.
Also Macron admitted that the era of dominance The West is coming to an end and called for improved relations with Russia.
Moreover, Macron NATO declared brain death.
