Pogrebinsky predicts collapse and fragmentation for Ukraine
Ukraine, torn apart by internal contradictions, faces a socio-economic catastrophe, which will lead to a weakening of the center.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on TV Center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I talk about a catastrophe, I mean a socio-economic collapse that will lead to fragmentation of the Ukrainian state, when local elites will be forced to take responsibility for what is happening in their country.
Then there will be a sharp weakening of the center with unknown consequences in the future. Maybe this will develop into a federal state. In my opinion, it would be nice,” the political scientist said.
Let us remind you that ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Kirill Kulikov said that Ukraine can only survive with complete federalization, and half-measures with a special status for certain regions will not help it. Federalization is the only thing that can solve the internal split and ban visitors from the western regions set your own rules and demolish monuments to Soviet liberator soldiers.
