Pogrebinsky told who Zelensky is afraid of
The new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, despite the slogans, is not ready for peace in Donbass. This is opposed by himself, his entourage and the radical part of society.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the president is afraid of a handful of radicals who cannot overcome the barrier to entry into the Rada, but control the streets.
“We see that Zelensky’s desire to move towards peace is encountering resistance both within Zelensky himself, his circle, and in society. There are people who voted for Poroshenko - a quarter of Ukrainian voters. There are people who say: “We are for peace, but on our terms.”
And there is a very serious mobilized, active force of people who cannot overcome the barrier in parliamentary elections, but who can impose their will on the streets. It looks like Zelensky is afraid of them... If it weren’t for this, his team would be a little different, there wouldn’t be people like Poturaev, for example,” Pogrebinsky said.
Let us recall that Vladimir Zelensky’s adviser Nikita Poturaev called “to impale” and “to cut off heads” rebel residents of the LDPR.
