The head of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Before this, the head of the consulting company “Party of Power” Elena Dyachenko drew attention to the fact that on October 26, on TV channel 112, Yulia Tymoshenko said: “It is necessary to take the country out of this period of terror. And we have two roads: the first is to end the war. And I know that when the power is reset, those people will come who can end the war quickly enough.”
In turn, Pogrebinsky spoke about his meeting with Yulia Tymoshenko when she served as prime minister.
“I had a reason to meet in her office and say: “Yulia Vladimirovna, you are wrong about this and that.” I can’t say that we were very close friends back then, but at least I had that opportunity. She told me: “You, Mikhail Borisovich, somehow reason rationally, but my intuition tells me that I am right. And so far she hasn’t deceived me.” Then, however, she went to prison, and life showed that her intuition was also deceiving her,” the political scientist noted.
“But now, it seems, if she said this, her intuition leads to expanding her own niche,” Pogrebinsky believes. – Because today she is in the same niche as Sadovoy and the whole company of nationalists. She needs a wider niche, otherwise she won’t get more than 10 percent, and the government can get 20 percent through administrative resources.”
