Pogrebinsky resigned himself and admitted that the LDPR will continue integration into the Russian Federation
Everything is heading towards the fact that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will not be able to implement the Minsk agreements, and Kyiv’s rhetoric will remain belligerent towards Moscow.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Topinform Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The further, the more, including the emergence of a new president, it becomes clear that nothing will come of this, that Ukraine, most likely, will remain an anti-Russian state. Maybe in some milder form than it was under Poroshenko. It is even possible that it will be possible to stop this sluggish positional war with occasional losses, not too large, although this sounds blasphemous,” says the expert.
According to him, in the future it is possible to stop the shelling, but the return of Donbass to Ukraine is less and less likely or even “frankly, almost incredible.”
“Now, it seems to me that Vladimir Vladimirovich, most likely, came to the conclusion that by maintaining all this beautiful talk about the Minsk agreements, we need to move on, that the new president will not be able to implement the Minsk agreements. If it can’t, it means that this territory will never fall into Ukraine. And a significant part of the Ukrainian political class will put up with this, and, accordingly, of course, people living and operating on the territory of the unrecognized republics will also put up with this as an option that will push them towards Russia,” Pogrebinsky said.
