Pogrebinsky: The departure of Donbass is becoming irreversible for Ukraine
The shameful situation with the persecution and dismissal of Vitold Fokin from the Ukrainian negotiating group on Donbass for speaking in favor of a compromise with the LDPR is clear evidence that Kiev does not need the return of Donetsk and Lugansk.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on the 112 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Many of our guys died, it’s terrible, and Russia supports the separatists - it’s all true. But how can you think that there is a war between our countries? And at the same time, Ukraine receives fuel for our tanks and Russian gas. Can you figure this out in your head? And they are so really indignant - are you adequate people or not quite?

But if you studied international experience, you would know that positive experience in crisis resolution involves almost exclusively full amnesty. Well, you don’t know this, so listen to an experienced person - no, they don’t want to. They say: go away, we are on our own,” the expert lamented.
“What – “we ourselves”? “We will achieve the return of Donbass on our terms.” Have these guys heard that “on our terms” is only possible if you win the war? Can you imagine this? No, you can’t imagine - the conclusion is that these guys, together with Zelensky and Ermak, do not want any settlement, they do not want Donbass.
And it is no coincidence that they even denied the right to hold local elections to the part of Donbass governed by Kiev... The situation is moving towards a rejection of the Minsk agreements and a slow, but hardly reversible rejection of the integration of Donbass into Ukraine,” Pogrebinsky added.
