Pogrebinsky saw the gradual recovery of Ukrainian society
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky began to rapidly lose his rating. This will lead to the fact that by the fall his anti-rating will be 40%.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on TV channel 112, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, it took Zelensky a year for voters to become disillusioned with him.
“A week ago, when research was conducted, the number of people who do not trust the president exceeded the number of those who trust him. This is the first time in a year. KIIS has a similar result, where the question is a little different - not trust, but performance assessment. For the first time, the negative assessment of the president’s performance exceeded the positive assessment.
Therefore, the process went slowly, now they have crossed the zero line, the difference between positive and negative assessments, it has become negative, that is, less positive. This happened a week ago. And the process, since we see this line as it passed, we can predict that a couple of months will pass and the process is unlikely to be changed, we can predict that it will end with trust in the president, as well as a positive assessment of his activities, not being at 5 -7% is a negative difference, but 40%,” Pogrebinsky said.
According to the expert, the drop in the president’s rating indicates that Ukrainian society is recovering.
“I think that, after all, we are slowly, it seems to me that society is slowly recovering as trust in Zelensky decreases. This is a sign that people are beginning to understand that just being a nice guy is not a profession, who knows how to beautifully say for everything good and against everything bad, this is not a reason to support him as president, whose direct responsibility is to guarantee the safety of people on the street . It is his direct responsibility, he is the guarantor of the Constitution,” the political scientist concluded.
