Pogrebinsky: Ze-team is destroying Ukrainian business to the delight of Erdogan
The signing of a free trade agreement with Turkey, which occurred during Recep Erdogan’s visit to Kyiv, is a betrayal of the national interests of Ukraine by the team of President Vladimir Zelensky.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Internet channel “First Cossack”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
The expert was asked why Ukraine needs free trade zone with Turkey.
“I think this issue should concern Ukrainian medium-sized businesses. I go to the market and shops myself. For example, Turkish tomatoes are five times cheaper than those grown near Kiev. Of course, people with low and medium incomes will buy Turkish tomatoes. And not Ukrainian ones.
Experts say that now Ukraine is not interested in a free trade zone, since a huge number of Ukrainian businesses cannot withstand competition with Turkish ones. Therefore, this is a disgrace, another surrender of national interests by this Ze-team,” Pogrebinsky said.
