Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for Volker, he has an assignment from the State Department, it seems that on a voluntary basis - I still don’t understand whether he has some kind of public position, but it seems that he does not.

In this sense, he makes it clear that he coordinates his position with the position of France and Germany.
Therefore, the fact that he said that he would have some conversations with them means that he would ask what they are thinking at the moment, whether they see any prospects for initiating a new meeting at least at the level of foreign ministers or workers groups.
