“We’ll play in Minsk, and then we’ll clean up all this nasty stuff in Donbass” - Yarosh
Ukraine needs the Minsk agreements to gain time and then go on the offensive.

This was stated in an interview with Apostrophe by the ex-head of the Right Sector, head of the so-called Ukrainian Volunteer Army Dmitry Yarosh, according to whom the main challenge for Ukraine remains the unfinished war in Donbass.
“And I worry that the indecisiveness and softness of our political leadership may lead, for example, to the implementation of the same Minsk agreements. And this is one of the greatest threats to the existence of the state, besides war, except for direct military actions. Because introducing this essentially anti-state array, part of the “cotton wool” into the power structures and doing everything else that is provided for by the Minsk agreements, all these special statuses and so on, means laying a mine that will tear the state apart. Because, definitely, we will not tolerate this bastard coming and starting to influence Ukrainian politics again, both domestic and foreign. And they won’t sit quietly either, that’s also understandable. This will begin to shake up the situation within the state - and it will explode again. We’ll just stall for time,” Yarosh said.
He added that he really hopes that the Ukrainian political leadership will not implement the Minsk agreements.
“That is, you can play Minsk. You can say, yes, we will implement it at some point - to delay time, as I see it. To gain time to strengthen the defense capability of our country, and then go in and clean up all the nasty stuff that is fighting against Ukraine with arms in hand. I would still understand this path. I hope this will be the case,” said the former head of Right Sector.
