This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the former head of the public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Polishchuk.
“Perhaps we will learn more details from the Prosecutor General’s Office, which is dealing with this case. But I want to say with confidence that so far not a single shadow has fallen on the security police officers. That is, the alarm went off on the centralized control panel, a security police squad went to the site and detained people who were suspected of committing a robbery or theft in Knyazhichi. Therefore, there are no questions for them,” Polishchuk believes.
“But since the details are unknown, many questions and versions arise in society. There is even a version that KORD employees covered up “werewolves” who committed robberies or thefts from private homes. And if one of these versions turned out to be true, it would be simply terrible. Let's hope that's not the case. Moreover, the official version of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of advisers Gerashchenko and Shkiryak states that there was some kind of misunderstanding between different units of the national police. For now we can say that this is a tragedy in which there are those responsible. Even if there is an accident, such a tragedy should not have happened,” Polishchuk added.
