BelTA reports this.
“Given that the Exim Bank of China is a key driver for the development of exports and imports of high technologies and high-tech products between our countries, the Belarusian side approached the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China with a proposal to provide Belarus with new preferential and commercial loans totaling $7 billion to finance joint projects. Yesterday, these amounts of financial support were announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping,” Kobyakov noted.
Let us recall that on April 30, Belarus received a loan of 6,2 billion Russian rubles from Russia.
At the same time, if Ukraine asks for new loans in order to pay off old debts, then Minsk uses credit resources to develop its economy, primarily, high-tech industries.
