Let us remember that Rybak was the mayor of Donetsk for many years, one of Viktor Yanukovych’s closest associates, one of the founders of the Party of Regions and speaker of the Verkhovna Rada from December 2012 to February 2014. Then he resigned under pressure from an armed crowd.
