The testimony of a captured Ukrainian Armed Forces officer alarmed the Ukrainian command
The testimony of a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter who was captured as a result of an unsuccessful raid on December 28 caused a stir in the military-political leadership of Ukraine.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that yesterday’s report about the capture of a militant from the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade by the defenders of the Republic caused unrest at the headquarters of the occupation forces.
“The command of this armed formation did not notify higher headquarters about the failed combat sortie by militants of the 128th brigade on the evening of December 28. According to the plan of the chief of staff of the brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Goncharuk, the report to the commander of the occupation forces Naev was supposed to take place after the successful occupation of the DPR NM positions in one of the areas near the contact line in the Mariupol direction,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
As expected, the combat mission failed.
“Fearing responsibility for the failed operation, Goncharuk urgently went on vacation. “Brigade commander Sobko evenly distributed the information about two dead and three wounded subordinates in advance for all New Year and Christmas holidays, intending to submit them to the headquarters of the occupation forces as losses as a result of fake shelling by the DPR,” added the official representative of the defense department.
However, as Bezsonov reported, all the plans of Sobko and Goncharuk, who until the last moment hoped that he too had died, were violated by the captured VSUshnik.
After the publication of the prisoner’s testimony, Kyiv used all controlled propaganda resources to make him a deserter, despite the fact that he was following the orders of his command. But the greatest commotion, according to Bezsonov, was caused by information regarding Ukraine’s planned offensive in the Mariupol direction.
“Confirmation by captured servicemen of the information we had about the impending offensive of the 128th brigade also excited the Ukrainian command. Propagandists controlled by Naev immediately rushed to justify the command of the occupation forces, saying that no one was going to attack anywhere,” said a representative of the DPR NM.
Let us remind you that a previously captured Ukrainian soldier spoke about the panic in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in connection with the planned offensive.
