The “kidnapping” of Goncharenko turned out to be a staged act by the SBU in order to arrest the father of one of those killed on May 2, 2014
The “kidnapping” of People’s Deputy Alexei Goncharenko was staged in order to detain those who ordered the crime.

This was announced by the prosecutor of the Odessa region Oleg Zhuchenko.
The kidnapping of Goncharenko, according to the prosecutor, was allegedly ordered by deputy of the Limansky district council of the Odessa region Kushnarev. Kushnarev’s son, Zhuchenko added, died in Odessa on May 2, 2014, and was burned alive in the House of Trade Unions.
Kushnarev, according to the prosecutor, ordered the kidnapping of Goncharenko in order to inflict “serious bodily harm on him, namely, use acid, disfigure his face, deprive him of his vision, and also break his kneecaps.”
Kushnarev and his accomplices, according to the prosecutor's office, were going to torture the deputy themselves, but they tried to hire other perpetrators to kidnap him. Under the guise of perpetrators, law enforcement officers communicated with those who ordered the crime.
In total, three people were detained on suspicion of involvement in the attempted abduction of Goncharenko, the prosecutor said.
Goncharenko, in turn, said on the 112 Ukraine TV channel that the special operation in which he took part continued several weeks ago. “This group was conducted, their conversations were documented, receiving appropriate court sanctions,” he said. “There was careful and painstaking work by the SBU.”
After the prosecutor's office disseminated information about his abduction, Goncharenko said, the customers and organizers went to the place where the “perpetrators” were supposed to deliver him.
At the same time, even pro-Maidan-minded Kyiv journalists are skeptical about this version of the SBU, hinting that it is sewn with white thread.
“The separatists kidnapped a repainted separatist for the purpose of torture and deprivation of vision on the “sacred day” of February 23. Well, isn't it fucked up? And who will the SBU save from kidnapping on the “sacred day” of March 8?” writes journalist Stanislav Rechinsky on the social network.
