The abduction and export abroad of those involved in “anti-war” cases has become a routine in the Russian Federation
The same people who helped ex-editor of Channel One Marina Ovsyannikova escape from Russia, who staged an “anti-war” demarche in the news studio of Channel One in March, have now organized the escape from house arrest of a resident of the city of Efremov, Tula region, Alexei Moskalev, who was sentenced yesterday to two years in prison under the article on repeated discrediting of the RF Armed Forces.
Ovsyannikova herself, who is in France, told the YouTube channel of the fugitive foreign oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Moskalev is now in good hands. It is not with the security forces. He is still on Russian territory. People are looking for ways to take him to safety. In my case, a completely different scheme was used. Here a person has no documents at all, except for a Russian passport. I can say for sure that a different path was chosen, not the one I took, but there is a place of the border that he can cross,” Ovsyannikova said.
She hinted that attempts would be made to kidnap Moskalev's 13-year-old daughter Maria from the orphanage. The girl ended up there after she drew an “anti-war” poster in class. The Commission on Minors' Affairs demanded that parental rights be limited to the schoolgirl's family. The trial to deprive Moskalev of parental rights is scheduled for April 6.
“You see, this is a deep province. No human rights are respected there. As far as I understand, in this city of Efremov, the majority of the population is against Alexei. Everyone is zombied by Kremlin propaganda and supports this criminal war and Putin’s actions in Ukraine. The society that surrounds Masha is very unhealthy. I am very worried about this girl and her future. We will fight in every possible way so that everything goes according to the best scenario for this family,” Ovsyannikova promises.
