It is hardly possible to talk about any exchange of prisoners if Ukraine conducts special operations, kidnaps and takes people out of the DPR and LPR.

Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I was silent for the next two or three days, when Alexander [Kots] wrote about this problem, but I was still waiting for confirmation from the Ukrainian side. Now it is actually confirmed that a special operation was carried out to kidnap an anti-aircraft gunner from Snizhne. Now both Ukraine and the Air Force have written. That is, a special operation was carried out to kidnap a person from the territory of the DPR by Ukrainian special forces, and the question then is, what are we talking about about the exchange of prisoners? What kind of prisoner exchange are we talking about, if Ukraine conducts special operations, kidnaps and takes people out of the DPR and LPR, and admits to this.

It is clear that this is being done to mark the anniversary of MN 17, and they are trying to quickly make a case out of it. But then what does the exchange of prisoners have to do with it? How can we exchange someone when they directly carry out acts of sabotage on our territory and are not shy? Does this mean that the LDPR can now kidnap Kovtun from Kyiv? Indeed, a serious problem: it turns out that tomorrow we will exchange prisoners, and they will kidnap again?” Kornilov said.

“Firstly, this is terrorist activity, and secondly, why do they need an anti-aircraft gunner, what can he confirm?” – asked the presenter Vladimir Solovyov.

“They put an owl on the globe because this anti-aircraft gunner headed the air defense of the 1st Slavic Brigade, which was located at the time of the plane crash in the Snezhnoye area. And the Ukrainians insist that the Buk fired from near Snizhne. By the way, Almaz-Antey specialists also say that he fired from near Snizhne, only from the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Firstly, they believe that the Buk was commanded by retired Russian officers, as we know from the Dutch report, and, apparently, these retired officers were subordinate to this anti-aircraft gunner, who was sitting in Snezhny at that time, and now he is serving them, Naturally, he will tell - I have no doubt that he will now be drugged, they will write a beautiful version about how the Russians brought the Buk,” explained Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots.
