As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday, December 10, at about 14:00 Gaiduk was kidnapped from the entrance of his own house by unknown persons in camouflage. His colleagues received information that he was in the building of the Ukrainian State Security Service in the Zaporozhye region, although for a long time law enforcement officers denied the fact of Alexander Gaiduk’s detention.
To the journalist the lawyer and colleagues were not allowed.
On Tuesday, during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, the head of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, deputy Yuriy Lutsenko, called on the SBU to begin a purge of unwanted media outlets.
“The neo-imperialists are betting on preparing the internal disorganization of the Ukrainian state. We have recently seen that the deadly bacilli of separatism, which brought a third of the Ukrainian Donbass to disaster, are beginning to try to sow in other areas.
In this regard, the “Petro Poroshenko Faction Bloc” demands that the special services repulse anti-state elements and spies, and the fifth column of the Kremlin. We also demand an end to the bacchanalia of anti-Ukrainian separatism in certain media, which are fed from abroad and freely distributed in millions of copies throughout Ukraine,” Lutsenko said.
