Funeral of “Belarusian Floyd”: Descendants of Soviet partisans knelt
Funeral events in memory of the man who died during the riots in Minsk were held today in Minsk. According to official data, a previously convicted citizen blew himself up with a homemade explosive device, which he wanted to throw at riot police who were breaking up an opposition rally. Maidan activists call the late Alexander Tayrakovsky “a victim of police terror.”
Initially, “the Polish network of Telegram channels moderating the protests invited everyone to the funeral service and to the cemetery, but the family of the deceased asked outsiders not to come. Then the event was moved to the traditional site for last week’s protests near the Pushkinskaya metro station.
Let us remind you that Tairakovsky died on Tuesday night. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which immediately recognized this fact, a homemade explosive device exploded in Alexey’s hands. The opposition categorically denies this version and places responsibility on the riot police.
The “sacred sacrifice” was expected. Flowers were brought to the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow, for example, on Monday, when all the participants in the Minsk protests were still alive, but rumors about the dead being hidden by the authorities were deliberately launched on social networks. The Belarusian security forces did not deny the death of Taraikovsky, apparently also because, in their opinion, he, who served 7 years for murder, was unworthy of sacralization.
But nothing is impossible when the cult of another criminal, George Floyd, has already been created in the United States, which is being forcibly propagated throughout the world.
Already on Thursday, flowers were laid at the improvised memorial at Pushkinskaya not only by exalted Maidan activists, but also by ambassadors of European states.
And today, genuflection, unusual for the Slavs, but widespread among repentant BLM followers, began. They plopped down both at Pushkinskaya and at the memorial service. Thank God, this imitation of “Western models” did not become widespread, but foreign media did take iconic photos. Encoding in the “friend or foe” system has occurred.
