The “hawk” who left Zelensky complained about France and Germany
Sanctions do not prevent Russia from increasing trade turnover with the leaders of the European Union - France and Germany.
The recently resigned Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Elena Zerkal stated this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the ex-official, European businessmen are happy to buy Russian assets, which have fallen in price due to sanctions.
“They have been exploring the space for a long time, even despite the sanctions. Trade turnover between France and Russia, Germany and Russia has been growing with enviable consistency over the past few years. Indeed, for them to now gain access to the Russian market again is a good injection into their economy. In addition, assets in the Russian Federation are not so expensive now, so their business, accordingly, is also interested in purchasing many assets,” Zerkal said.
