Journalist Alexander Chalenko spoke about this incident on his blog.
“Now a book exhibition has been going on in Moscow for a week at VDNKh. On Friday at 16.00 at the stand of the publishing house “Piter” there was a presentation of the book by two legendary prankers – Lexus and Vovan – “For Whom the Phone Tolls”. Natalya Poklonskaya arrived at it. At the end of the presentation, the publishing house gave her a book of pranksters, and also, as a friendly gift, offered to take a new edition of Vladimir Kornilov’s book “Donetsk-Krivor”
But Poklonskaya, having taken the book of pranksters, abandoned Kornilov’s book. And, as I understand it, categorically. Without explaning the reason. The publisher can only shrug their shoulders. Everyone was at a loss. It seems like Poklonskaya is a quilted jacket, Kornilov is also a quilted jacket, his book is a quilted jacket. Then what's the matter? A discussion of the riddle began.
After some time, an explanation was found: the fact is that on the cover of the book Lenin and Stalin were depicted, who for Poklonskaya, a monarchist, a devout Orthodox Christian, a fan of Nicholas II and an accuser of “Matilda,” are naturally the fiend of hell. She apparently thought the book was apologetic
Thank you!
