Poklonskaya promises Chubarov a case for “illegal actions of an extremist nature” (VIDEO)
Simferopol, May 04 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Crimean Prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya said that the department she heads regards today’s march of Crimean Tatars across the border with mainland Ukraine in support of Mustafa Dzhemilev as “an illegal action of an extremist nature.”

“In the city of Armyansk and some other regions of Crimea, the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people under the leadership of Chubarov Refat Abdurakhmanovich carried out an illegal public action of an extremist nature associated with mass riots, blocking of highways, illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation, combined with obstruction of legitimate actions of government bodies, as well as using violence,” she said.
Poklonskaya clarified that “based on these facts, the republic’s prosecutor’s office sent two resolutions to the Investigative Committee and the FSB to organize criminal prosecution against the perpetrators.”
She recalled the “inevitability of punishment for carrying out extremist activities.”
