Poklonskaya called for treating the “Tomos” as a piece of paper
The population of Russia and Ukraine is one people, divided today by borders. The “tomos” initiated by Petro Poroshenko on the recognition of Ukrainian schismatics is a piece of paper whose purpose is to separate two parts of a single people from each other.
Ex-prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea, State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya stated this on air on the First Sevastopol TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia and Ukraine are one people. People from Russia and people from Ukraine are no different from each other, and this will always be the case, whether anyone likes it or not.
We have never shared spiritually, although now they are trying to divide us. And their pieces of paper, tomos, do not have grace, it is not from God. We were Orthodox people, we are one people. We once lived in Ukraine, I lived in Kyiv, I know that Ukraine is a kind country, hardworking people. We have one Victory, one faith, the same traditions, the same songs. Our grandfathers and great-grandfathers sat in the trenches and did not divide the Motherland,” she said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Poklonskaya previously stated that in 5-10 years Russia will continue to reunite with its historical lands, and in the future it will also regain the Mother of Russian cities - Kyiv.
